GIEM-UCV: Grupo de Investigación Evoluciones Metafísicas, Metaphysical Evolutions Research Group, was born in the Central University of Venezuela in 2019 as the result of many conversations between philosophy Professors. The common theoretical framework arises from considering the diverse aproximations to the complex ontological texture of reality, as we conceive it nowadays. We, all the members of the team, decided to take the perspective of "Process Metaphysics" -particularly the whiteheadian vision- to understand this historial moment, the nature of reality, the evolution of our actual societies, and we are working to assume the challenge of exploring the metaphysical basis of our culture. Process metaphysics, object of study in many universities around the world, has not been yet consolidated as a research line in our academic institutions, here, in Venezuela. So we decided to fill that theoretical void with our contribution. To do this, we give seminars in UCV classrooms, also in virtual classrooms. We participate in international events. We publish in magazines and our first book resulting from our research has already come out.
