This event will provide the why and the how of America’s reckoning with systemic racism and its response. Maulana Karenga, PhD and Rabbi Steven Jacobs, hosted by Rev. Louis Chase share the why and how.

Maulana Karenga will speak to the urgency, the reckoning and the call to action for what our nation needs to do. He will talk about a new start where all systems are called to work together for people to thrive and for us to create justice for our community. Although money is important, it alone will not be enough to repair the damage caused by 400 years of systemic racism.

Rabbi Steven Jacobs will bring a historical and biblical account of reparations from a Jewish perspective.
