In this event, Micah Huang will share ideas of social ecology, particularly with regard to the post-colonial reclamation of history and reframing of the international social order. Micah believes This is particularly important with regard to the relationship between the US and China, in which the old storyline of colonization and resistance, accompanied by mutually hostile rhetoric, is badly in need of an update which conceives of the world as an ecosystem rather than a winner-take-all contest. He will also address how his work using music and media to revisit and reframe histories and intercultural dynamics aims to contribute to the establishment of this new paradigm.
